Laboratory-Grown Diamond
REAL DIAMONDS, A MODERN ORIGIN
Laboratory-grown diamonds are real diamonds created in a controlled environment using advanced technology that recreates the conditions in which natural diamonds form.
They share essentially the same chemical composition, crystal structure and optical and physical properties as natural diamonds. They are not cubic zirconia, moissanite or imitation diamonds.
The defining difference is their origin: natural diamonds form within the earth, while laboratory-grown diamonds are created using specialised technology.
Laboratory-grown diamonds are assessed using the familiar 4Cs — cut, colour, clarity and carat weight — and their origin can be confirmed by a qualified gemological laboratory.
